The duration of Master of Computer Application course is of three years( 6 semesters). Candidate having qualification as Graduate (Three Years) in any discipline or equivalent can apply for this course. Information Technology architecture is an integrated framework for acquiring and evolving IT to achieve strategic goals. It has both logical and technical components. Logical components include mission, functional and information requirements, system configurations, and information flows. Technical components include IT standards and rules that will be used to implement the logical architecture. It’s a convenient term for including both telephony that is driving what has often been called “the information revolution.”
The first two semester of MScIT are considered the foundation courses and is a must for fresh students. The First and the Second semester aims at preparing the graduate to take on the responsibilities of handling computers in large industries. Students will be exposed to the latest trends in programming languages and RDBMS. In the third and fourth semesters students will be exposed to the latest trends in digital telecommunications, broadband and wireless mobile communications. In the fifth and final semesters, candidates will be exposed to the advanced software applications, e-business and intelligent systems
